RAF museum 

I went on a trip to the RAF museum last week with school. It was a really fun trip. Here is a map to show you exactly where we went to: Map of the RAF Museum

We met an air raid warden who told us all about his job. We also got to experience an actual air-raid. I wasn't scared by it because I knew it was fake, but it was really interesting to see what it might have been like to live during the Blitz.

I was particulalry interested in the R240 Bomber plane. It was made even before WW1 started, but was used lots during both wars! This video tells you a little bit more about it Video of R240 Bomber plane.

This other video also shows you what the plane might have looked like when it was being flown. Pretty cool huh

We have also been learning about propaganda posters during the war.

We started making our own. Hopefully next week I can put mine on this blog so you can all see it!
